About Schlaine Hutchins

The course I’m teaching is for the HCISPP certification from ISC2. It is a course that combines cyber security and health care privacy and security. It is meant for those who are working in the health care industry and are responsible for privacy, compliance, security, risk management or a combination of these things. It is also for those who are not in the health care industry, but want a better understanding of the nuances for protecting sensitive health information.

I have taken courses on Cybrary before and I would have never thought about responding to the email for instructors. Then, upon finishing a Mastery of Leadership training course, I applied for the role to stretch myself outside of my comfort zone. Well, to my surprise, I was selected and I am teaching a course. It has been a challenging, yet amazing experience.

In my free time, I am a licensed Zumba fitness instructor and a certified Life Coach!
